Program: MIT Global Teaching Labs

The Rafael del Pino Foundation and MIT Global Teaching Labs organize a training program in which 10 MIT students teach a course on Good Practices in Biology, Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics or Technology (STEM) to Secondary Education teachers from the Community of Madrid. The main objective of the course is to share how American centers of excellence work with STEM skills and understand the importance of this teaching methodology to promote scientific and technological vocations among students, as well as share experiences around these teachings in Spain and the USA. USA. MIT students teach 20 hours per week of STEM subjects in institutes in the Community of Madrid in collaboration with the professors who were guiding them.
