On 21 December 2010 the Rafael del Pino Foundation signed a research agreement whith Dr. Cristina Fernández Marco.
In 2011 Dr. Cristina Fernández Marco completed this research project at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, New York (USA).
This research has shown how chromatin remodelling factors interact with DNA-binding proteins to remove active marks, while maintaining the inactive marks that are necessary to repress stem cell activity during the plan cell differentiation process.
