On 29 October 2018, the Rafael del Pino Foundation hosted a dialogue between John Elliot, Regius Professor Emeritus of Modern History at Oxford University, and José Álvarez Junco, Emeritus Professor of History in the Faculty of Political Science at the Complutense University of Madrid, on the occasion of the presentation of Elliot's book "Catalans and Scots.
