On 29 June 2020, the Rafael del Pino Foundation organised the conference "Effective Decisions to Control the Pandemic: The Value of Big Data", with the participation of Anette Hosoi, associate dean of the MIT School of Engineering, and Ali Jadbabaie, JR East Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and associate director of the Institute for Data, Systems and Society (IDSS), also at MIT.
