The Community of Madrid: European Region with the greatest business dynamism in 2015

The Rafael del Pino Foundation, CEIM, Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira and Accenture organised the presentation of the study "A light administration for the company of the 21st Century. The Community of Madrid: European Region with the greatest business dynamism in 2015", on 15 March 2013.

The study, prepared by CEIM, Accenture and Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira, proposes a series of reforms to make Madrid the most dynamic European region from a business point of view in 2015. Speakers at the event included: Maria del PinoPresident of the Rafael del Pino Foundation; Managing Director, Carlos Coll Head of Public Sector, Spain, Accenture; Javier Laorden and Nicolás Gónzalez DeleitoPartners at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves & Pereira; Arturo FernándezPresident of Los Empresarios de Madrid; and Ignacio GonzálezPresident of the Community of Madrid.

For the preparation of this report, a field study was carried out in October and November 2012. 56 companies of different sizes and representative sectors of the Community of Madrid were interviewed with the aim of identifying the administrative and bureaucratic obstacles that entrepreneurs in Madrid have to face in the exercise of their usual activity and proposals for improvement. The report includes a set of proposals to improve the business environment in the Madrid Region.
