The Rafael del Pino Foundation together with the Royal Academy of History reached an agreement to organise the series of conferences "Spanish expansion in the world (16th to 19th centuries: economy, politics and culture)" during 2013.

 

The following conferences will take place during the month of March 2013:

- The formation of the Spanish language. Francisco Rodríguez Adrados. Academician of the Spanish Royal Academy and the Royal Academy of History.

- Economy, society and civilisation in Viceroyal America. Gonzalo Anes y Álvarez de Castrillón. Director of the Royal Academy of History.

- The Spanish language today: unifying actions. Víctor García de la Concha. Academician of the Royal Spanish Academy and Director of the Cervantes Institute.

- The economic and cultural assets of the Spanish language in today's world. Eduardo Serra Rexach, former Minister of Defence
