On 16 May 2012, the Rafael del Pino Foundation and the Círculo de Empresarios held the conference "The Image of Spain: Reality or Prejudice?
This conference analysed how foreign correspondents posted here perceive Spain's image and how they transmit it to their respective countries; how large Spanish companies operating abroad that are standard bearers of Spain's image define their image strategies; and what perception the large law firms working for large international investors interested in our country have of Spain's image problems.
The opening of the conference was given by Maria del PinoPresident of the Foundation, and Monica de OriolPresident of the Círculo de Empresarios. The first of the two round tables around which the conference was structured was entitled "Spain's image in the international media".
