Davos World Economic Forum in Madrid

Shaping Davos

Shaping Davos is an initiative of the World Economic Forum led and developed by Global Shapers with the support of the Rafael del Pino Foundation. For the first time, parallel sessions to the Davos Forum are organised in 40 cities around the world, including Madrid, around the topics on the Davos 2015 agenda, with leaders and experts from different countries. In Madrid, these activities were held on 21, 22 and 23 January at the Foundation's headquarters, the same dates as the Davos Forum.

Nine panels were held with experts and leading professionals from the business, political and social spheres who reflected on democratic regeneration, the digital economy, energy, health, inequality, sustainability, Ibero-America and leadership today. The last panel, Rethinking politics: new actors and new tools to deepen democracy, connected live with the Davos Forum. The moderator and speaker of this debate, Yolanda Román, Director of Public Affairs at Inforpress, shared with the Davos Forum the most important conclusions and proposals of the debates held during those three days in Madrid.

The Forum was organised according to the following programme:
