World Economic Outlook

On 5 November 2013, the Rafael del Pino Foundation organised the Keynote Lecture by Martin Feldstein "Perspectives on the global economy".

Martin Feldstein is George F. Baker Professor of Economics at Harvard University and is a former president of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), of which he is currently honorary chairman.

Professor Feldstein is one of the most influential economists of his generation. Former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, a body from which he contributed to the definition of public policies during the administrations of US Presidents Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and Barak Obama. He is also a member of the American Philosophical Society, the Econometric Society, the National Association of Business Economics, the Council on Foreign Relations of the Trilateral Commission, the Group of 30, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Academic Advisors of the American Enterprise Institute.

Professor Feldstein is the author of more than 300 research articles published in leading academic journals and is a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal.
