Chandran Kukathas Keynote Lecture

Immigration and freedom

On 5 March 2020, the Rafael del Pino Foundation organised the Master Conference "Immigration and Freedom" given by Chandran Kukathas.

Chandran Kukathas is Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Lee Kong Chair Professor of Political Science at Singapore Management University, formerly Professor of Political Science at the London School of Economics, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute of Economic Affairs, the UK's most influential liberal think tank.He holds a BA in History and Political Science from the Australian National University, completed his studies in Political Science at the University of New South Wales and a PhD in Philosophy from Oxford University, where he subsequently taught. His work reflects a deep knowledge of political philosophy in general and liberal thought in particular, and he is the author of numerous academic papers analysing the work of authors such as Friedrich Hayek, John Rawls and Will Kymlicka.
