The 2015 Starting Point

The Rafael del Pino Foundation collaborates with Pangea in the organisation of The 2015 Starting Point event. The aim is to create a unique meeting place where talented young people can demonstrate their exceptional motivation and potential. The event took place on 28, 29 and 30 January 2015.

The 2015 Starting Point' was attended by more than 200 young people selected from all over the world, representing more than 65 different nationalities aged between 16 and 24. The union of all of them aims to demonstrate that age is not a limitation but a great opportunity. To achieve this goal, the event has been designed through a new model fully focused on young people, which seeks to awaken, develop and connect their enormous potential through three main pillars: The Global Village, The Pangea Master and The Speakers.

The Global Village was created to be a meeting point where young people will connect with each other to share their own experiences and forge connections that will bear fruit in the future by encouraging the materialisation of ideas. On the other hand, the Pangea Master seeks to develop interpersonal skills, creative capacity, critical thinking and teamwork with the aim of acquiring a series of tools that will enable young people to face the challenges that the world poses in the most powerful, effective and united way possible. Finally, this event will bring together as speakers some of the most influential young people in the world, recognised by prestigious magazines and international rankings. All of them will be a huge source of inspiration as well as the perfect example that being young is not a limitation but an immense opportunity that we cannot let slip away.
