Anti-fragile. Things that benefit from disorder

On 3 July 2013, the Rafael del Pino Foundation organised a keynote lecture by Nassim Nicholas Taleb entitled "Antifragile. The things that benefit from disorder" on the occasion of the presentation of his book with the same title.

Nassim Nicholas Taleb began his professional career as an investment banker and has redirected it towards research and scholarship. He is known for his multidisciplinary approach to profit from unforeseen events across economics, philosophy, political science, finance, engineering and history. He is an extraordinary professor of Risk Engineering at New York University Polytechnic Institute.

His current focus is on "anti-fragile" systems, those that benefit from disorder. His books Anti-Fragile, The Black Swan and Does Luck Exist? have been published in 33 languages.
