José María Aznar and Pablo Casado

On 23 October 2018, the Rafael del Pino Foundation organised the dialogue "The future is today. Spain in the change of era" in which José María Aznar and Pablo Casado will participate.

José María Aznar holds a degree in law, is a State Finance Inspector and a practising lawyer. President of the Spanish Government (1996-20014). Executive President of the FAES Foundation. President of the Atlantic Institute of Government, IADG. Honorary President of the Partido Popular. Member of the Board of Directors of New News Corporation. Chairman of the Friends of Israel Initiative. Member of the International Advisory Committee of the Atlantic Council of the USA and European Chairman of its Latin America Initiative. Senior Advisor to the Global Board of DLA Piper. Member of Concordia's Leadership Council and chair of the Concordia - The Americas summit. Member of the Board of Trustees of the Elcano Royal Institute.

Pablo Casado is a lawyer and economist. He holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University, a degree in Business Administration and Management and a Master's degree in Autonomous and Local Law from the Rey Juan Carlos University. DGP from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, CLS from the Government Affairs Institute at Georgetown University, PLGP from IESE, PLPE from Deusto Business School, PGP from Instituto de Empresa and Financial Markets Course from IEB. Deputy Secretary of Communication of the Partido Popular and campaign spokesperson for the municipal and regional elections from June 2015 to July 2018. Deputy Spokesman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Spokesman of the Joint Committee for the European Union of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Legislature (2011-2015). Director of Cabinet of the former Prime Minister of Spain, José María Aznar from 2009 to 2012. Spokesman for Justice and Public Administrations and Deputy Spokesman for Budgets and Finance of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Madrid Assembly from 2007 to 2009. Non-Resident Fellow at the SAIS (School of Advanced International Studies) of the Johns Hopkins University in Washington. Visiting professor at the Global Leadership and Competitiveness Program at Georgetown University.
