The new public manager. Leadership Keys for Public Management

 On October 30, 2012, the book was presented "The New Public Manager. Leadership Keys for Public Management". at the Centro de Estudios Políticos y Constitucionales with the collaboration of the Fundación Rafael del Pino.

The event was presented by Jorge Moragas, Director of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government and was attended by Benigno Pendás, Director of the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies, Amadeo Petitbó, Director of the Rafael del Pino Foundation and Antonio Núñez, author of the book and Director of Social Policies of the Cabinet of the President of the Government in Spain.

The book is the result of research "The European School of Government for the training of public managers". by Antonio Núñez during his stay at Harvard Kennedy School with a grant from the Rafael del Pino Foundation.

Antonio Nuñez Martín is the Director of Social Policies of the Spanish Prime Minister's Office. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF, an MBA from IESE Business School, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a PhD from the Universidad Juan Carlos de Madrid with the thesis Public management training in Spain. He worked as a social entrepreneur in the creation and consolidation of the NGO "Cooperación internacionl".

He has spent ten years at IESE where he headed the Open Programmes, In Company Programmes and Special Programmes departments; he created and was Executive Director of the Center for Public Leadership and Government.

He is a teacher, lecturer and regular contributor to the press, radio and television. President of the Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Association in Spain and member of several business Boards of Directors, Editorial Boards of the press and Boards of Foundations and NGOs.
