The Rafael del Pino Foundation organised, on 5 March 2014 at 7 p.m., the Keynote Lecture by Martin Wolf "After the Crisis: what next for the world economy?".
Martin Wolf is associate editor and economics editor of the Financial Times. He was awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2000 "for services to financial journalism". Mr Wolf is an honorary fellow of Nuffield College, Corpus Christi College, the Oxford Institute of Economic Policy (Oxonia) and the University of Nottingham.
He has participated in the World Economic Forum in Davos since 1999 and has been a member of its International Media Council since 2006. He holds an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Nottingham, a Doctor of Science (Economics) from the University of London, and an Honorary Doctorate from the London School of Economics. He was a member of the UK government's Independent Commission on Banking (2010-2011). His most recent publications are Why Globalization Works and Fixing Global Finance.
