2013 Youth Leadership Award

Rafael del Pino Foundation Scholarship Holders' Association

The Rafael del Pino Foundation Fellows Association presented the 2013 Young Leadership Award on 26 September 2013. The winner of the third edition of the award was Tomás Diago Esteva, Founder and President of Softonic.

This award is given every two years to entrepreneurs and leaders under the age of 40 who have contributed, through their initiative and effort, to the improvement and advancement of society through the development of solid and innovative business projects. In its previous editions, the Prize was awarded to Jesús Encinar, founder of idealista.com and to Íñigo Pirfano, Founder and Musical and Artistic Director of the Orquesta Académica de Madrid.

Tomás Diago Esteva holds a degree in Technical Engineering in Computer Management from the Universitat UAB Sabadell and a degree in Computer Engineering from the Universitat Ramón Llull.

Founder and President of Softonic, Tomás Diago has made Softonic.com, one of the leading companies in global internet audience, with a volume of 128 million unique users per month and more than 5 million downloads per day.

From the beginning of his career at Softonic, Tomás Diago has held various management positions within the company until reaching his current position as President, which he has held successfully since 2008.
