On 16 December at 7 p.m., the Rafael del Pino Foundation is organising a dialogue entitled «The new illiberal order: how the world is being reconfigured», with the participation of Anne Applebaum and Federico Steinberg. Anne Applebaum is a historian, journalist and political analyst, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and internationally recognised for her work on totalitarian regimes, disinformation and contemporary challenges to liberal democracy. Her perspective combines historical rigour with a deep understanding of the current geopolitical context. Keynote Lecture by Omar Hatamleh
The Rafael del Pino Foundation is organising a keynote lecture entitled «Artificial Intelligence and Innovation» on 18 February 2026 at 7 p.m., to be given by Omar Hatamleh on the occasion of the presentation of his latest book of the same title. Keynote Lecture by Branko Milanovic
The Rafael del Pino Foundation is organising a keynote lecture entitled «The Great Global Transformation» on 4 March 2026 at 7 p.m. to mark the launch of its latest book of the same title. Branko Milanovic is a senior researcher at the Stone Centre on Socio-economic Inequality at the City University of New York. In 2019, he was appointed Maddison Honorary Professor at the University of Groningen. He obtained his PhD in Economics (1987) from the University of Belgrade with a thesis on income inequality in Yugoslavia.
