Central Banking Series: Madrid

The Rafael del Pino Foundation, the Global Interdependence Center of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and BBVA have joined forces to promote a better understanding of the economic and structural factors affecting the world's major economies. In particular, this initiative focuses on the views of central banks and major business corporations on macroeconomic behaviour.

It is a forum for the exchange of divergent perspectives. Every year some thirty international experts come together, both in public and closed-door events, to identify emerging social and political issues vital to the interdependent global community.

The meetings, conferences and briefings held in Madrid at the Foundation's headquarters also promote global partnerships between governments, non-governmental organisations, corporations, businesses, academic and research institutions.
