International Baccalaureate Scholarships at the CMUs

in partnership with United World Colleges (UWC)

The Rafael del Pino Foundation collaborates with United World Colleges (UWC) by awarding a two-year international baccalaureate scholarship each year. The aim of these scholarships is to bring together young people from different countries, faiths and cultures to train them in the ideals of universal harmony and understanding.

United World Schools is an international non-profit organisation that promotes peace through multicultural education. It has 12 centres of academic excellence in 12 countries on four continents. In each of them they study the International Baccalaureate and some 200 young people from more than 80 countries live together. The UWC has Nelson Mandela as its honorary president and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012.
