The second day of the 1st Forum on the Global Economy, jointly organised by the Círculo de Empresarios and the Rafael del Pino Foundation, took place on 5 November 2020. The central theme of the day was "The European Union in a post-pandemic global scenario". Participants included Miriam González Durántez, partner at Cohen & Gresser LLP; Pedro Passos Coelho, former Prime Minister of Portugal; Emilio Lamo de Espinosa, President of the Real Instituto Elcano; Guntram Wolff, Director of Bruegel, and Eric Chaney, economic advisor at the Institut Montaigne.
