The Rafael del Pino Foundation has been a member of the Association of Protectors of the Royal Academy of History (RAH) since 2001. The numerous activities promoted and in which the Royal Academy of History participates would not be possible without the collaboration and support offered by the patron companies through their financial commitment.
On 12 November 2004, the Royal Academy of History awarded the institution's Gold Medal to Rafael del Pino y Moreno, Founder of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, in recognition of "his untiring work of cultural promotion and his valuable contribution to a better knowledge of history through the Foundation that bears his name". María del Pino, president of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, is also an Honorary Academician of the Royal Academy of History. The Rafael del Pino Foundation has been developing an intense activity to promote historical research and is contributing an important catalogue of publications to the Spanish cultural heritage.
