Professors Rafael del Pino

The Rafael del Pino Foundation's founding aims include the promotion, encouragement, development, protection and support of all types of civic, educational and cultural activities, and to this end it may make donations and finance studies, research, courses, conferences and seminars. Particularly noteworthy in its work are the initiatives aimed at promoting academic training and research activities.

To this end, since its creation, it has endowed Rafael del Pino Chairs, with which it has promoted learning, teaching and research at the highest level. These Chairs have been awarded to Spanish professors and researchers of recognised international prestige, either for the development of training or scientific activities in the best centres of excellence in the world or to promote certain areas of study and analysis in Spain, as well as the strengthening of Spanish higher education teaching and research structures.
