Álvaro Escribano Sáez is Director of the Carlos III International School (Carlos III International School, C3IS), Professor of Applied Economics at UC3M, Director of the Master in Industrial Economics and Markets and member of the UC3M Governing Council. He holds the UC3M Chair of Internationalisation and is Associate Editor of Macroeconomic Dynamics and Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics, and Cambidge Elements in the Economics of Emerging Markets.
He was awarded a Chair by the Rafael del Pino Foundation. The main objective of his work has been to search for empirical regularities on the relationship between competition and innovation in relation to the company and the sector, also taking into consideration what is happening in different countries.
