Diploma in Statistics, 1970, Master in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics (distinction), 1971, and Doctor in Economics (Ph.D.), 1975, from the London School of Economics. REY JAIME I Prize in Economics, 1991. Fellow of the European Economic Association. Founder and editor of the Bulletin of EU & US Inflation and Macroeconomic Analysis, 1994-2016.
His research interests are Time Series Analysis, Dynamic Econometric Modelling, Economic Forecasting, Quantitative Methods for the Analysis of the Economic Situation and High Frequency Series Analysis.
