José R. García is Professor of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis at the University of Valencia. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Valencia. He has been a visiting researcher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and has collaborated as a researcher with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Rafael del Pino Foundation. He has published scientific articles on topics related to economic growth, taxation and unemployment, growth and the environment and on the impact of fiscal policy on the economy. His work has been published in, among other journals, the following publications European Journal of Political Economy, The Energy Journal, Economic Modelling,The B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics, Scottish Journal of Political Economy o Economic Research.
