Deputy Director General for Economic Analysis and Programming, Directorate General for Budget (Ministry of Finance).
He has held various positions in the Ministries of Finance and Economy since joining the Administration in 1983 as a Commercial Technician and State Economist. A large part of his professional career has consisted of carrying out studies on the Spanish economy and economic policy, and representing the Ministries for which he has worked at international conferences and meetings.
Academic qualifications: Degree in Economics, Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1981). Master's Degree in Economics, Boston College (United States) 1993.
