Milagros Algaba is a geographer by training, in which she was fortunate to have had great teachers. After a few twists and turns, including two maternities, her path ended up leading her, some years ago, to the world of excavations and human evolution. Since then she has been travelling back in time and learning as much as she can about people and places, her passion since early childhood. She has worked on books, documentaries and exhibitions because what she likes most is to tell stories, and to be told them.
Algaba Suárez has taken part in documentaries and exhibitions, but what he enjoys most is telling stories, as well as reading them. She reads with relish the stories of explorers from all eras and deeply admires the spirit of overcoming the challenges of those heroic travellers, whom she would like to emulate. But she is convinced that you don't have to be Livingstone or Mary Kingsley to enjoy the wonderful world we live in and the diversity of the people who inhabit it.
