Sculptor. Born in Navaescurial, Ávila. Self-taught. Studied sculpture in France, Italy and Japan. He has held collective and individual exhibitions all over the world.
He has received very important awards, including in 1976 the Military Cross with White Distinctive 1st Class, in 1982 the S.E.K. Gold and Brilliant Medal, and recently he was awarded the Gold Medal for Merit at Work.
He has made busts for important figures from the world of politics, culture, etc., with busts of the Royal Family at different times in his life standing out.
It has placed monuments both in Spain, notably the Open Air Museum in Tortosa (Tarragona), which consists of a central monolith 7.5 m. high and some 48 sculptures scattered throughout the Park, and in other countries: Mexico, Denmark, Japan, Czechoslovakia, Russia, Greece, etc.
