Vicente is Director of the Institute of International Economics of the University of Valencia, director of the "ValenciaPort Chair of Port Economics" of the Port Authority of Valencia and the University of Valencia. He collaborates with the Rafael del Pino Foundation.
Degree in Economics from the University of Valencia. MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science-University of London. PhD in Economics from the University of Valencia. Director (2004-2009) of the Observatorio de Coyuntura Económica Internacional (UV). Director (2009-2023) of the Master in Economic Internationalisation: International Trade Management (UV).
The main areas of his current teaching and research are the International Economic Situation, International Trade and Port Economics. Co-author of publications in the above and related fields in national and international journals and books. Co-author of the book "Los Siete Pecados Capitales de la Economía Española" (The Seven Deadly Sins of the Spanish Economy). Regular contributor to the written and audiovisual media.
