Degree in Economics from the University of Valencia. MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science-University of London. PhD in Economics from the University of Valencia. Director (2004-2009) of the Observatorio de Coyuntura Económica Internacional (UV). Director (2009-2023) of the Master in Economic Internationalisation: International Trade Management (UV).

The main areas of his current teaching and research are the International Economic Situation, International Trade and Port Economics. Co-author of publications in the above and related fields in national and international journals and books. Co-author of the book "Los Siete Pecados Capitales de la Economía Española" (The Seven Deadly Sins of the Spanish Economy). Regular contributor to the written and audiovisual media.
