The Rafael del Pino Foundation and the Institute for the History of Intolerance signed a collaboration agreement to carry out research under the title "The Church in the history of Spain". This is a rigorous, detailed and up-to-date study of the development and current state of the Church in the history of Spain, which will analyse the most significant milestones, the difficulties it has faced, its main achievements and doctrinal principles.
The study has been carried out by a team of experts led by Professor José Antonio Escudero, Full Member of the Royal Academies of History and Jurisprudence and Legislation. The results of the study will be published in a book in Spanish.
The content of this research materialised in the work "La Iglesia en la historia de España" (The Church in the history of Spain) published in 2014.
