Under the general name of the Encyclopaedia of the Romanesque in Spain, the support of the Rafael del Pino Foundation to the Santa María la Real Foundation during the last year of the collaboration agreement between the two entities has allowed 27 young people, recent graduates in History of Art and Architecture, to receive extensive research training from a team of professional experts, collaborating in the production of the works that make up the aforementioned Encyclopaedia.

The project includes a series of documentation and study works of the Romanesque testimonies treasured by the different autonomous communities, focusing its efforts on the four in which the fieldwork has been carried out: Aragon, Catalonia, Galicia and the Basque Country.
