Beneficiaries of the Foundation's activities

The following figures give an idea of the social impact achieved by the Foundation's activities in the financial year 2024:

  • 19.740 students have taken part in the Foundation's training programmes offered at the Rafael del Pino Campus, including 4,435 senior students and 15,485 junior students;
  • 126.500 people have made use of the Gaceta and Investiga platforms;

From the moment it was set up, the Foundation has had a clear vocation for training in fulfilment of the mission entrusted to it by the Founder to contribute to the training of current and future leaders. Between 2001 and 2024, the Foundation has developed 561 training programmes with 57,053 senior students and 134,356 junior students.

After the twenty-third edition of the Rafael del Pino Excellence Scholarship Programme, held in 2024, the number of Rafael del Pino Excellence Scholars who have been able to study at leading universities and centres around the world since the programme began is now 329.

The Foundation has a system for attending to its target audience and receives a great deal of information from them via the Internet (contact portal, twitter, facebook, youtube, instagram, ivoox, spotify, info@, press@, confirmations@, etc.) or through the regular follow-up meetings provided for in the agreements signed with its collaborators, as well as through the a posteriori evaluation carried out with its target audience, whom it attends to personally and who freely express their opinions and suggestions. It also carries out regular surveys aimed at its stakeholders.

The Foundation has promoted associationism among the beneficiaries of its activities, as well as the consolidation of contact networks among them. In this regard, the Rafael del Pino Foundation Scholarship Holders Association is an independent association promoted by the Foundation that includes all of its former scholarship holders from the Postgraduate Studies Scholarship Programme (Rafael del Pino Excellence Scholarships).
