The FoundationIn 2006, in collaboration with the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Latin America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, created the Rafael del Pino Architecture Scholarship for the restoration of artistic and cultural heritage, attached to the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome. Its aim is to contribute to the promotion and conservation of Spanish historical heritage and to encourage the training of Spanish architects or other professionals in the field of restoration and maintenance of artistic and cultural heritage.
In 2014, the Foundation awarded three Rafael del Pino Grants to carry out the Project for the Cataloguing and Inventory of the Cultural Assets of the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome: Rafael del Pino Foundation Catalogue. The experts who received these grants were: Begoña Zubero Apodaca, Ana María Mogollón Naranjo and Enrique Martínez Lombó.
In 2015, the Foundation awarded a Rafael del Pino Grant to carry out the project "Risk assessment and implementation of preventive conservation plans for polychrome wooden works, in relation to the building and its location", which was awarded to Benjamín Domínguez Gómez.
