This space includes the annual data series of the educational level of the population for Spain and its regions, as well as for a sample of 22 countries of the European Union. OECDduring the period 1960-2011, carried out by the teachers Angel de la Fuente y Rafael Doménech.
Below are the databases and their corresponding analyses of annual series of the educational attainment of the adult population for Spain and its regions for the period 1960-2011 using the information provided by the population censuses. It also includes the series for 22 countries of the OECD in the period 1960-2010. The educational levels considered are: illiterates; primary education; the two cycles of secondary education; and the first two cycles of higher education. Using the breakdown of the population by educational levels and the theoretical durations of these, series of average years of schooling of the adult population are also constructed.
